Indoor Track In the winter months (roughly October to April) we race indoors on a carpet track. This is a semi permanent facility which means we only have to tear down and rebuild two or three times over the winter season. What classes do we race? Most members race 1/10th off road electric buggies but we also welcome 1/12th Mardave V12 cars, 1/18th electric micro buggies and 1/10th electric touring cars. No Nitro cars indoors though! The track is marked out using a mix of plastic coated wood and heavy rubber fire hose. Drivers get an unrestricted view of the track and their cars from our rostrum which can hold up to ten drivers. Our AMB race computer keeps count as the cars lap the track. A public address system allows the race director to provide a running commentary There is adequate space indoors for pitting and tressle tables are provided. Drivers are encouraged to bring their own 12V battery (in a spill proof container) as the number of electricity sockets is limited.
